Long time, no post and so much in between!

Here are a few photos of the work I'm currently doing since relocating to Anchorage, AK.

Above is a Krenov inspired curvy legged Fine Art Entry Table. It's made of curly maple, walnut and cherry. Hand Carved Walnut pulls, hand cut dovetail drawers, pencil roll edge, and proud legs make this one of the best pieces of furniture I have ever built! Also shown above, is a bent laminate cherry coat tree, which acts like a spider when loaded down with all of the heavy Alaskan gear needed for the cold winters up here. Because the legs are laminated, they act like a traditional bow and arrow with flex to handle the load.

On the next post I will be showing the progress on a bench and entry table set made from a 42" live edge walnut slab. It's a killer project and will be for sale and on display for my up coming show May 2012 at Artique downtown Anchorage, AK. http://www.artiqueltd.com/
